Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the issuance, use, cancellation, and renewal of Araw Hospitality Inc.’s (“AHI” or “We”) Araw Rewards program (“Araw Rewards”). By enrolling and participating in Araw Rewards, members (“You” or “Member”) acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by these Terms.


 

1. Membership Eligibility & Application

 

1.1 Qualification

  • Membership is open to individuals aged 18 years and above.

  • Membership is not restricted by residency.

  • Points can only be earned through direct bookings made via:

    • Araw Rewards website

    • Any Araw Property Website

    • Hotel reservations (email, chat, mobile)

    • Front desk

  • Bookings made through OTAs, travel agents, or third-party platforms do not qualify for points. However, members can still earn points on dining, spa, and tour transactions at participating properties.

 

1.2 Enrollment & Registration

  • Application Methods:

    • Online: Via the Araw Hospitality Group website by completing the online membership application.

    • In-Person: At any Araw property by filling out the digital or printed membership application form provided by our Front Office staff.

  • Account Security: Members are responsible for safeguarding their username and password. AHI is authorized to assume that any person using the Platforms with your credentials is either you or authorized to act on your behalf.

  • Personal Information: Members must maintain accurate and updated personal information. AHI shall not be liable for any issues arising from incorrect or outdated data.

  • Application Approval: AHI reserves the right to reject any application for membership at its discretion.

 

1.3 Membership Validity

  • Duration: Araw Rewards Sinag and Liwanag memberships are valid for one (1) year from the date of registration.

  • Renewal: Membership renewal is subject to AHI’s approval.

 

1.4 Membership Tiers & Advancement

  • Sinag Tier: Base membership upon enrollment.

  • Liwanag Tier: Achieved by earning 2,000 points within a calendar year.

  • Maintaining Liwanag Status: Members must earn 2,000 points annually to retain Liwanag status.

 


 

2. Araw Rewards Usage

  • Non-Transferability: The Araw Rewards Sinag and Liwanag e-cards are non-transferable and non-shareable.

  • Point Restrictions: Araw Points cannot be transferred, sold, or converted to cash.

  • Member Benefits: E-cardholders can access:

    • Exclusive member discounts

    • Special promotions during off-peak seasons

    • Designated member-only sales

  • Participating Locations: The e-card is valid at participating Araw properties and partner establishments only.

 


 

3. Earning & Redeeming Araw Points

 

3.1 Earning Araw Points

  • Eligible Transactions: Points are earned based on the total transaction bill (VAT-inclusive), regardless of any applicable Senior Citizen or PWD discount.

  • Earning Structure:

    • Hotels & Resorts:

      • Lihim Resorts, El Nido: PHP 500 = 1 Araw point (Sinag); PHP 500 = 1.5 Araw points (Liwanag)

      • Bacau Bay Resort Coron: PHP 200 = 1 Araw point (Sinag); PHP 200 = 1.5 Araw points (Liwanag)

    • Restaurants & Bars:

      • Henri’s El Nido: PHP 500 = 1 Araw point (Sinag); PHP 500 = 1.5 Araw points (Liwanag)

      • Mamser!: PHP 100 = 1 Araw point (Sinag); PHP 100 = 1.5 Araw points (Liwanag)

  • Point Crediting: Points are credited based on the guest folio upon check-out and will reflect in the member’s account within 30 working days.

 

3.2 Redemption of Araw Points

  • Redemption Method: Points can be redeemed only via digital vouchers.

  • Redemption Rate: 1 Araw Point = PHP 1.

  • Minimum Redemption: 100 Araw Points = PHP 100 voucher.

  • Voucher Usage: Only one voucher may be used per transaction; combining multiple vouchers is not permitted.

  • Discount Restrictions: Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with Senior Citizen or PWD discounts when redeeming for free room nights.

  • Finality of Redemption: Once redeemed, points are final and cannot be restored.

 

3.3 Redemption Process

  1. Account Access: Log in to your Araw Rewards account.

  2. Voucher Selection: Navigate to the Rewards & Vouchers page and select the desired voucher.

  3. Confirm Redemption & Receive Digital Voucher: The system generates a voucher code and sends a confirmation email.

  4. Present the Voucher for Redemption:

    • Room Stay: Front Desk (Upon Check-in)

    • Dining: F&B Staff (Upon Bill-out)

    • Spa Services: Spa Reception (Upon Booking)

    • Tours: Concierge Desk (Upon Booking)

  5. Frontliner Validates & Records Voucher Usage: Frontliner verifies voucher details and records redemption in Monday.com.

  6. Finance Team Audits & Finalizes Redemption: Finance team verifies redemptions weekly.

 


 

4. Membership Termination & Program Modifications

 

4.1 Termination of Membership

  • AHI reserves the right to terminate membership for:

    • Fraudulent activity

    • Misuse of rewards

    • Violation of Terms & Conditions

    • Abuse of program benefits

  • Any remaining points in a terminated account shall be forfeited.

 

4.2 Program Changes & Updates

  • AHI reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Araw Rewards program at any time.

  • Changes to tier qualifications, point earning rates, or redemption rules will be communicated in advance.


 

5. Privacy & Data Protection

 

5.1 Data Collection

  • Personal information collected during enrollment and participation will be handled in accordance with AHI’s Privacy Policy.

  • AHI may use member data for program administration, marketing, and promotional purposes (if opted in).

  • Members can opt-out of marketing communications at any time.

 

5.2 Data Usage & Security

  • Members are responsible for safeguarding their username and password.

  • Any transactions made under a member’s account will be considered authorized.

 


 

6. Legal Compliance & Dispute Resolution

 

6.1 Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

 

6.2 Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from the program shall be brought before the appropriate courts of the Philippines.

 

6.3 Limitation of Liability

  • AHI shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claims arising from:

    • Membership termination

    • Program modifications

    • Unauthorized use of member accounts
